Ford Focus To Feature Sony's Audio System

Automotive manufacturer Ford Motor Co. (F: News ) announced Wednesday that its premium small car, the all-new Ford Focus, would feature a branded and designed audio system from Sony Corp. (SNE: News ).

Focus will be the first car in its class to offer HD Radio digital broadcasts and iTunes Tagging capability through the segment-exclusive 355-watt audio system.

Ford pointed out that the relation with Sony is part of a broader effort to incorporate products and services from complementing brands consumers already know and trust. Ford also has partnerships with Microsoft, SIRIUS and THX.
