DEARBORN, Michigan — Saying it drew inspiration from designer Stella McCartney and the European Ford Focus RS, Ford on Wednesday rolled out three new customization packages for the 2012 Ford Fiesta. They include two new interior packages with eye-popping color schemes and one exterior package.
Ford told Inside Line that pricing has not been determined on the new packages and will be announced closer to the car’s launch in the fall.
The new premium sport appearance package on the 2012 Fiesta takes cues from the European Ford Focus RS, said Ford in a statement. The package includes several blacked-out components. They are side mirrors, headlamps, grille surround, license plate header and upper rear hatch spoiler. The package also offers 16-inch polished alloy wheels.
The new premium interior packages are available only on Fiesta SEL and SES models. The two-tone treatment — in either white or red — is said to be inspired by the work of designer Stella McCartney, according to a Ford statement. The retro-looking packages include a two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel and seats with a large “Fiesta” logo.
